GSW ensures broad discoverability of its content through monthly updates to major indexing services such as OCLC, Clarivate, EBSCO, and ExLibris. Journal content and eBook information are regularly updated. What services are used by your institution?
GSW and our platform provider, Silverchair, have transitioned to COUNTER 5.1.
COUNTER has instituted the switch to Version 5.1 in order to better accommodate the needs of OA and provide better reporting for the significant increase in the number and variety of digital resources being offered. Additionally, COUNTER 5.1 has simplified the SUSHI harvesting protocol used for gathering COUNTER reports.
Please see the roll out timeline below and please reach out if you have any questions.
January 2025: COUNTER 5.1 reports will start processing on Silverchair platform. Support for COUNTER 4 reports stopped and data removed from the platform.
February 2025: COUNTER 5.1 reports will be available (when January processing is finished).
Now-March 2025: COUNTER 5 reports will be maintained and processed on Silverchair platform.
April 2025-onward: COUNTER 5 reports will stop processing.
